There is a portion on the back of your Voter Identification Card for you to change your address, if you move to an address within the same county; since the Town of Longboat Key is located in two counties (Manatee County and Sarasota County) if you move on Longboat Key from one County to the other within the Town, a new Registration Application Form must be completed and submitted.
To Register to
you must:
be a U.S. citizen
be a Florida resident
be 18 years old (you may pre-register if you are 17)
not now be adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state
not have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored pursuant to law
not claim the right to vote in any other county or state.
