NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

THIS APPLICATION WAS RESCHEDULED FROM THE SEPTEMBER 19, 2017, PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING, WHICH WAS CANCELED, DUE TO IMPACTS FROM HURRICANE IRMA.
Please take notice that a public hearing will be held at the request of Victor Levine, property owner, requesting a replat of the westerly 900.02 feet of the existing Cedar Woodlands Plat; removal of certain noted stipulations; removal of required setback notes on the plat; and, vacation of the two north/south utility easements through Lot 1, for property located at 5444 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
A quasi judicial public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Board on the proposal will be held on October 17, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Town Commission Chambers, Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, Longboat Key, Florida. This hearing will be held in accordance with established quasijudicial procedures.
All interested persons may appear and be heard with respect to the request for replat approval submitted by Victor Levine. Copies of the proposal and related material associated with the request may be viewed at the Planning, Zoning & Building Department, 501 Bay Isles Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays prior to the hearing. Questions may be directed to the Planning, Zoning & Building Department at 316-1966.
No verbatim record by a certified court reporter is made of these proceedings. Accordingly, any person who may seek to appeal any decision involving the matters noticed herein will be responsible for making a verbatim record of the testimony and evidence at these proceedings upon which any appeal is to be based (see Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes).
