A CodeRED Emergency Notification was issued this morning at 11:00 AM advising of the Town’s COVID-19 Response and to visit www.longboatkey.org for daily updates. Residents who did not receive the CodeRED call, please register through the Town’s website. The link is located under the “I Want To…’ tab and re-directs you to the CodeRED registration portal.

CodeRED Message re COVID-19 Response and Current Information

This is an important message from the Town of Longboat Key regarding protective measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
While COVID-19 continues to disrupt life around the globe, the Town of Longboat Key is committed to continue providing our high-level customer service, in all Town operations. The health, safety and welfare of our residents, visitors, and businesses are our highest priority.
Longboat Key Town Hall, and other Public Buildings have implemented virtual customer service. This is an effort to protect our residents, and staff, while continuing to support residents, visitors, and businesses. Customers can contact staff by phone (941-316-1999), e-mail, and when necessary, an appointment can be made to visit a facility. Town Hall remains staffed, and fully operational, to sustain all Town services.
It is imperative that residents follow CDC advisories for protective measure to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
The Town has cancelled certain public events and meetings, closed public recreational amenities, and taken other actions to protect our public and staff.
Please, visit the Town’s website www.longboatkey.org for daily updates, and the current status of actions by Federal, State, County and Town actions taken to limit the spread of coronavirus, and threats to our citizens. Links are also included to CDC, Florida Department of Health, Sarasota County, and Manatee County Emergency Operations.
